There is probably no where on this earth as spectacular as Dubrovnik. The ancient city walls that are steeped in history, the numerous beaches that provide epic seascapes, some of the most beautiful hotels in the world and then you have the amazing variety of 100’s of buzzing restaurants throughout the area to choose from.
Having spent some time here over the years I can honestly say that travelling to Dubrovnik was the single most enjoyable holiday I have ever had abroad.
This is great but isn’t Dubrovnik mega expensive? Well yes and no. If you try to travel to Dubrovnik in high season you will have to have deep pockets. The price of accommodation and flights literally skyrocets leaving it simply unaffordable for most.
If you can travel between 20 September and 20 October you are in luck, as Dubrovnik is in the very south of the Adriatic Sea it remains hot most of the year. So the temperatures in September and October can be just perfect for us Irish holiday makers.
